The Light shines brightly ......

It began as a flicker. A dream.

Now the Festival of Light in Chickasha, Oklahoma has exploded to become a nationally recognized symbol of community spirit.

It burns brightly as it draws together over a thousand local volunteers and more than 300,000 visitors from across the United States to visit Oklahoma's jewel hometown.

Computer technology and Christmas Magic combine this year in Chickasha’s Shannon Springs Park incorporating 200,000 dancing mini-lights into its total light count of over 3.5 million.  This show is not just a bunch of blinking lights to music.  Highly- skilled computer technicians worked hundreds of hours to program a 13 minute masterpiece that joins exhilarating Christmas music with a magnificent routine of choreographed dancing lights.

"The complete show takes about 15 minutes from start to finish so visitors must park and walk to see it in its entirety." states Director Kristi Davis.
