It began as a flicker. A dream.

Now the Festival of Light in Chickasha, Oklahoma has exploded to become a nationally recognized symbol of community spirit.

It burns brightly as it draws together over a thousand local volunteers and more than 300,000 visitors from across the United States to visit Oklahoma's jewel hometown.

Volunteers Needed for 2009 Season

We will begin working on the lights in the park on weekends beginning October 3, 2009. Every Saturday we begin at 9:00am and end at 5:00pm with lunch provided. Every Sunday we begin at 2:00pm and end at 5:00pm. You can stay all day or just an hour. Any and all help is appreciated! We look forward to seeing you!

2009 Christmas Queen Pageant

2009 Christmas Queen Pageant is scheduled for November 7, 2009. We will again have Jr. Queen and King, Princess, and Queen categories. Talent will be presented at the pageant as well as Christmas wear. More will follow in the coming months.
